Fire and Smoke

Few things are more terrifying than a fire in your home. The aftermath is heart-breaking as you see so many cherished treasures burned or blackened by smoke. To make matters worse, you and your family are uprooted from all things familiar.

No one can turn back the clock, but Enhanced can help return your home to its previous state before the fire. Working with your insurance company, Enhanced will remove the soot, ashes, and debris that scar your home. They can even remove that hideous odor left from the smoke.Fire damage from electrical malfunction in dishwasher

Enhanced personnel are specially trained and certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). They are experts in restoring your home and its contents after a loss caused by fire. They use special equipment and cleaning agents, as well as the latest modern techniques to get you back into your home as quickly as possible.

Often smoke causes the largest amount of damage. Smoke residue is extremely acidic. It can etch glass and plumbing fixtures. Smoke penetrates plastic surfaces such as counter tops and appliances. Reduce the secondary damage caused from smoke by beginning the restoration process as quickly as humanly possible.

Cleaning a fire-damaged building ("the structure") takes more than household cleaners. Most cleaners on the market will actually cause your walls to absorb the soot, along with the odor. Let the professionals take care of your home. Virtually all House awaiting fire restoration and smoke odor removalhomeowners insurance policies cover professional restoration. Items attached to your home such as cabinets, plumbing fixtures, and carpet are normally considered part of the structure.

Many times cherished heirlooms can be completely restored to their pre-loss condition, so let Enhanced recover your treasures. Enhanced has two licensed insurance adjusters on staff, so they can generally help you sort out your best course of action when making an insurance claim.

While your structure is being restored, your contents are moved to a secure, environmentally controlled facility where they're handled with the utmost care. They will be cleaned, deodorized, packed, and labeled. (Enhanced will put a "rush" on articles that you need right away.) Your contents are safely stored until your structure is completely ready. Then they'll then be delivered back to you.

Depending on what fueled the fire, the soot and moisture mixture becomes highly acidic and causes secondary damage. Many precious items can be saved if processed quickly enough.

Enhanced works with all insurance companies. Tell your agent or insurance adjuster that you want to use Enhanced Carpet Cleaning for your fire restoration and smoke odor removal.

Enhanced also restores commercial and industrial buildings.

Smoke Odor Removal

Smoke odor is removed using the ozone process. Ozone bonds with contaminants, converting them into inert compounds. Ozone is created within a special "halo" compartment of the ozone machine where electricity splits oxygen molecules (O2) and reconfigures them into ozone (O3). This is the same process that creates the fresh smelling air noticed after thunderstorms. Structures as well as contents are treated this way to neutralize smoke odor.
